E’ stato brutale, epico, allucinante e commovente.
L’ho finito nel weekend a difficoltà leggendaria; la campagna e’ meglio di Halo 3
Unica lamentela: non raggiunge il top del libro The Fall of Reach (Halo) ma resta sempre la speranza che ne traggano il film.
In my original plan this blog main topic should have been about my coding exploits but seems like I didn’t stick to it.
Let’s try to make up for that by showing my super professional working environment.

Strangely enough I can use Facebook, Twitter and Youtube once again. Good news for me, bad news for this soon to be abandoned blog….
Woooooo!
Finally bought my replacement Xbox and it’s a brand new Jasper, with 512 Mb integrated storage, a very small and light power supply and white DVD slot, which I find more attractive than the old silver one.

And this baby is Japanese too! One very noticeable thing, compared to the old European, is that this one has no overscan at all.
Development can resume.
My luck was brief. Xbox dead again, and the crappy torx screwdriver i bought is unusable now. Hope I can find a kit to change the X-Clamp and hope for the best. Damn, I want to play.
I bit the bullet and opened up my Xbox360, did some Voodoo, cleaned some thermal paste and touched some spots. Now it’s booting and looks like it’s working again. Tomorrow a celebratory-gaming session. And thanks to the gods of video games.
So, as I started to become productive, my Xbox gave me the dreaded RROD. Then after 2 days came back to life, then RROD again… then came back one last time, but my TV stopped working. And finally the Xbox died.
Isn’t this a sad story?
In China once again. Facebook still blocked 
, Twitter works only via Google widget so what better chance to try and be as web 2.0 as i can with a total relaunch of this long forgotten blog. I’ll try to write some useful insights about my new attempt at video game programming and other stuff I usually do. Then I will shortly give up and forget about this.
